Artwork Information on Symbols and Colors
Most symbols you pick for your coat of arms design already have colors assigned to them as pictured in the examples, but each color may be changed to what you want. Colors may vary among computer monitors so we have a special color chart for you to pick your colors from. A number is assigned to each color. These are called RGB Value Numbers. Don’t worry; it is very easy to follow once you see it. This color chart option will become visible when you pick your first symbol. To view this color chart simply click within the box beside the word "Color" and a color chart will appear. Simply scroll over the field of colors. To focus in on the color you want simply click on that color and then use the slide bar on the right side to adjust the shade.
Beneath the color chart you will find a few extra boxes to check. Depending on the type of artwork level you pick will determine which boxes will be listed. These boxes will tell us if you want custom artwork not listed or simplistic artwork not listed. There is also a notes box for any additional information needed for each symbol.
The following diagram outlines the components found in a coat of arms/family crest, company logo, or college/school emblem. Not all components are necessary in your custom design. Leave blank any part of the form that you will not be using in your design.
